Waikato Regional Barista competition
Two of our staff entered the Waikato Regional Barista Competition, and came away with both 2nd and 3rd places. Below is a picture of Tama and Joel receiving their awards from the Judges
The competitors had to make 8 coffees to present to the judges (2 x latte, 2 x flat white, 2 x long black, 2 x cappuccinno, and also 2 x special coffees that they made up themselves.) Joel made up a chilli/raspberry one (called RED HOT) and this wowed the judges. This is our new winter special coffee on our blackboard at work and it is taking off big time! So get yourself down to The Station and sample one of these winter delights.
